Can I use wall decals on my wall?
The four most common wall types
-
✅ Perfect: Even wall with a bit of paint texture
A light and even texture works great. The decals stick well and remain easy to remove later thanks to the small pockets of air in between. -
✅ Perfect: Drywall or other completely smooth surface painted with a fine roller
Decals stick best on a completely smooth surface. -
⚠️ Ok: Rounded soft or irregular texture with even areas in between
A large rounded soft texture usually works fine, if it offers enough smooth areas for the decals to adhere to. -
❌ Not recommended: Walls with strong or sharp texture
Strong or sharp texture provides too little surface for the decals to stick, making them prone to peeling over time.

⚠️ Do not use decals on:

-
Dirty or dusty surfaces
-
Surfaces that are freshly painted (wait at least 2–4 weeks)
-
Wallpaper or delicate finishes that may peel
-
Outdoor surfaces or areas exposed to moisture
